Election day for Washington state is Nov. 4, 2025. Voting ballots have been mailed out to registered voters for the general election. In this election cycle, voters will have the opportunity to vote on a constitutional amendment proposed by the state legislature to allow the state to invest money from long-term services and support accounts on every general election ballot.

Races include positions for the Wenatchee School Board, East Wenatchee City Council, mayor of Rock Island, Rock Island City Council and other positions. A full list of candidates and positions is available at votewa.gov.

Washington is a vote-by-mail state. Ballot materials are sent to a registered voting address ahead of election day.

Voters should receive a ballot packet and a return envelope. To send a ballot to be counted in an election, drop your signed ballot at an official drop box or return it by mail; no stamp is needed. Drop boxes are open and voters can send in their ballots until 8.p.m. on Election Day.

In-person services and accessible voting materials are available at the Douglas County Clerk in Waterville or at Chelan County Superior Court in Wenatchee. At these offices, individuals can register to vote, update their address, get a replacement ballot, and use an accessible voting unit in person.

People can check the status of their ballots at votewa.gov to see if their county has received their vote. Election staff will contact people if a signature is missing and it does not match their voter registration record.

After 8 p.m. on election night results for Douglas and Chelan county are posted at results.vote.wa.gov. Results are updated as counties report and are unofficial until certification.
